Our rapid growth and increasing demands for our services has created a need for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Caseware Specialist.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to understand and apply audit theories and procedures to resolve staff problems with audit applications
- Have a strong working knowledge of both Excel and Word
- Must be self driven and be able to resolve problems with little guidance
- Strong customer focus from initial contact to the resolution
- Provide accurate and detailed information to staff when resolving a problem or question
- Convey a positive impression which reflects favorably on both the Firm and the CaseWare Team
- Strong understanding of utilizing the diversity of a team to achieve task and goals
- Anticipates problems and initiates new and better ways of doing things
- Follows through on commitments and assumes responsibility for own mistakes
- Be able to work with both the Audit and Technology Services Team to meet staff and Firm goals
- The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of public accounting experience and an interest in the use of technology
- Strong knowledge of software used by the Audit practice staff (CaseWare and Idea)
- Proficient knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
- Effectively organize ideas for a logical presentation to staff and team members
- Ability to train staff in the use of the audit applications and other tools they will need to accomplish their client work
- Primary responsibility is to assist staff members with Audit related software and technical issues, assist in the development of CaseView documents and assist in the training of staff in various applications
- Troubleshoot general technology questions from staff using CaseWare
- Open/Close Magic cases (having case ownership from initial call to resolution)
