The Research Analyst position will be based in Southfield, Michigan. The Research Analyst will conduct investment related research for our internal research and investment committees. The information that they provide enables staff to make decisions relating to the investment portfolios they manage. The Research Analyst Assistant will work with a team that supports all of Plante Moran Financial Advisor's clients. Responsibilities include:
- Gathering and analyzing investment manager data regarding mutual funds, separately managed accounts and alternative investments
- Preparing reports, including charts and graphs, to illustrate various investment opportunities and/or current market conditions
- Providing general administrative support to the research team
- Conducting web-based research on various investment related topics
- Creating and maintaining a variety of reports for use internally and with clients
- Locating and compiling data pertaining to regularly produced reports and materials and special projects
- Interacting with investment manager representatives and custodians/banks
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Candidates are required to have a four-year degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, accounting, economics
