Description:
The senior engineer is responsible for the development and production of components and systems for diesel emission control.
The development engineer is responsible for designing, testing, analyzing, and validating the product. Integrating the needs of customers into the design is a key objective; therefore significant customer contact is expected.
The senior engineer should manage the expectations and interactions with key customers, ensuring satisfaction during product development program execution.
Minimum BS in mechanical engineering and 5 - 7 years experience with focus on exhaust, engines, emission control, or a similar field.
Experience required in product development in the emission and exhaust treatment field. The ideal candidate will have experience working with OWM customers on product development programs in the exhaust and emissions areana.
Basis knowledge of exhaust design and manufacturing is a plus.
Experience in design for six-sigma and reliability methods is also a plus.
